It's my clarion call for all of you to become gospelic (though there is no word like this in the dictionary😃) getting gospelic is a state of mind. To live and breath and proclaim the gospel. I live and move and have my being in Jesus. He is my forever hero. He is my passion.

The magic of new beginnings
My journey in this passionate pursuit begins in a small place called Virudanagar in Tamil Nadu where in some time in April 2004 I was reading my Bible at midnight in my bed. And suddenly God impressed upon my heart with 2 profound questions.
1. If you die tonight where will you go
2. I know you are a Christian but what have you done for me.
I had no reply. Getting answers to those questions became the primary focus of my life.
Wherever I went, I started asking the same questions to people that I knew but no one could give me satisfactory answers. Ultimately I turned to the very source I had THE BIBLE. And as I turned to the Bible I started to find answers. Day after day , night after night I started pursuing Him in the word of God. I was so moved that I left my job and I started fasting. The first 40days I gave up my one time meal. The second 40 days I gave up meals 2 times in a day. In the third stretch of 40 days I did a total fast and prayed. And the Lord spoke to be through 2 Timothy 2: 3 & 4. . Just like a soldier in the armed forces never backs down in the defense of his country, I am to stand like a soldier in the kingdom of God. He started teaching me about enemy tactics. The desire to share the gospel became so intense in me that I bought a Map and I researched places to go.
The Lord led me to go to Sikkim. I was about 25 years old then raw and young. Didn't know much. I asked my friend in Chennai to buy me a train ticket to Sikkim. At the railway station my friend was told that the only way to go to sikkim was to first take a train West Bengal.
Those days I remember the presence of God was so real. I was on cloud nine. I boarded the train from Chennai to New Jabalpuri west Bengal. I landed there 1 pm at the station. I remember it was raining. Knew only Tamil and some broken English. Not even Hindi. I slept in the platform. Next day morning somehow with my limited language capabilities managed to communicate to a man that I wanted to go to Sikkim. He pointed towards a Jeep in which I sat and headed towards my destination. The travel was quite discomforting for me because I was not used to the hilly terrain. It gave a queasy feeling in my stomach.
Once having reached there I contacted one guy whose information I found in a Christian newsletter back home . He came to see me and asked me lot of questions as to why I came all the way to Sikkim. Once convinced of my motives he started to trust me. My dad was not very happy about my grandiose plans but as any parent would be out of concern gave me some money for food and lodging. With that I lodged in a room and started sharing the gospel on the nearby market and the town. Many laughed and criticized me because of my language but slowly I got acceptance and my ministry started growing. I went to the hills to share. The climate was very cold and harsh and I had only one rain coat. But I persisted. I starting sharing with the Buddhists and the drug addicts prepare to meet your creator. Preached the gospel with gusto to them.
Many of the days there was no food to eat and some days I had to tie a towel around my waist to quell the pain of hunger. But God gave me the strength to go on. This went on for about 3 months. Then once I knew I only had enough money to buy a train ticket home. I returned.
All glory to God. In these new beginnings faced a lot of persecution from my own folks. They laughed at me for choosing this path of life. They said I was being irresponsible and that I better find a decent job. But how could I betray my Lord who had called me anointed me strengthened me with the call of an evangelist. I endured and persisted through those days . Though it was painful there was joy in my heart as I was in the centre of his will. Those days taught me fortitude and to keep my eyes on Jesus and him alone.
We are not rich by what we possess but by what we can go without. Isn't this a profound quote. My northeast Stint was one such experience. It gave me an insight into how to make most of the resources that you have.I rocked the boat and came out of media ministry out of my comfort zone. The Lord was leading me to use whatever I have in my hand for the furtherance of the gospel and the kingdom of God. Those days I had an ordinary 15 year old 100 Cc Hero Honda bike given to me by my Dad in 2006. Thought of putting it to good use. There was no money to buy a new one. But the Lord did a miracle in preserving this tool for me. I shipped it to westbengal by train and then rode to Sikkim. It was rainy season there so navigating through muddy roads were difficult and challenging. Met many people prayed for many people. God was faithful.
From there I moved to a place in westbengal called alipurdwara.Travelled through jungle area . It was dangerous to travel through elephant crossing area but finally reached a village called kukreja in Assam.
The area was totally flooded with no water and power supply and I got stuck there for a week.After much prayer a door was opened to ugalgiri where the bodo people live. I stayed in a pastors home for about 1 and half weeks. We had evening fellowship wherein I shared my vision and the importance of prayer. While there training I got a contact for Kohila. It's at the Assam Arunachal border.
Run For Christ 2022
The Lord called King David " A man after God's own Heart" I personally think that's the best commendation God can ever give to a man. Can you imagine knowing the heart beat of God. His heart bleeds for his Supreme creation which is mankind created after his own image. So why doesn't our heart resonate with God's heart for his creation. After the protestant revolution started by Martin Luther King up until the 20th century there rose in each generation many mighty men and women of God who preached the gospel with a great burden and many came to know the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. And all this happened with limited technology of reach and transportation facilities and sound systems. Don't you think much more can be done with the technology that we have today, the transportation facilities we have to day or for that matter the sound systems we have today. So where is the gap? Today us Christians have been lulled into a slumber with the trinkets of this world. We run after endeavors to make ourselves comfortable instead of zealously pursuing what is the heart of God for his people. The devil has been so crafty in diverting our attention to what is earthly and temporary than to things that are eternal. I have nothing against earthly possessions but do we love more what God loves. Our father wants all to come to repentance. DOES THAT MOVE US TO ACTION? In my travels I see so many hungry hearts. In a state like Rajasthan where people are willing to sit on just a rug under a very hot scorching sun for 7 to 8 hours just to hear a man of God speak, what does that say about the spiritual hunger in people. Folks ..my dear brothers and sisters in Christ ..we are living in a generation where there are many ACTIVISTS for various causes be it climate control or animal rights or environmental rights. I AM ASKING WHERE ARE THE PEOPLE FOR GODS RIGHTS!!! IS there no one among the youth of born again believers who can RISE UP LIKE CHARLES FINNEY OR GEORGE WHITEFIELD OR JONATHAN EDWARDS to preach the gospel without fear. This is my clarion call to all the true believers in India ...wake up from your slumber...arise to your calling..and preach THE GOSPEL with great urgency. RISE UP MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS. FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH. DARE TO DIE FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE . JESUS IS CALLING. RUN YOUR RACE.
Whoever controls the media controls the mind. In this day and age this seems to be a very accurate quote. The influence of social media platforms is changing the ethos of mankind. And just as money is not the root of all evil but the love of money is. What the enemy has used for his diabolical schemes is the very tool which can be powerfully utilized for the Gospel.
With this principle in mind, I began working for a ministry which used media to make faith based missionaries stories, short films and documentaries Having done a course in Graphic designing it was quite interesting.
One day while traveling from Chennai. I got down to go to a shop to buy water. As I was drinking my eyes fell upon the boards which were advertising about training nurses and other courses. Suddenly this thought came to me why don’t we train people in Christian media to reach people with the gospel. This led to us training the first batch of students about 25 in number. It was an in person training for 3 months. 15 of them dedicated themselves to work in ministry. Praise God. There were students from not only Tamil Nadu but other states as well. There were 2 other batches as well wherein I ended up training about 75 in Nagpur and about 110 in Delhi. I also held one in Mizoram.
But with the call that I have on my life. I soon started becoming restless and out of place about a comfortable job, a steady income and Ac rooms. The Lord was once again impressing upon my heart the need to pray for the north east which became too intense to resist. That began my journey back to the northeast.
